Sample of Application Letter for Getting a Job

A job applicant usually writes an application letter to a business firm, travel agency, etc., for a position which has been advertised on a newspaper. Here is one of the samples of the application letters.

I am 25 years old and not married. I can speak and write English and Dutch with ease. I spent three years in studying marketing management in the Netherlands and one year as a marketing assistant with PT. Samudra Biru, a shipbuilding company with connections in Singapore and Japan.

I should be grateful if kyou could give me further information about the job you advertise.
