Spears has filed for divorce
from her husband of two years, Keven Federline.Court officials in the U.S. state of California say she filed divorce papers Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences.
Spears married Federline, a performer also known as K-Fed (Kevin Federline), in 2004. They have two children.
Federline has recently been traveling the United States to support his rap album. He and Spears met when he was a backup dancer on one of her tours.
Spears married Federline months after her 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to a childhood friend. Before that, she dated fellow pop singer Justin Timberlake.
